Icing
We offer three different icing options for your cake:

Sugarpaste
|
Fondant or Sugarpaste icing:
The traditional white icing used on wedding cakes giving a very smooth, firm finish. fondant can be coloured almost any shade.

Buttercream
|
Buttercream icing:
A soft, sweet butter based icing that can be flavoured and coloured. It is spread on the cake with a "rough" finish.

|
Ganache
|
Chocolate Ganache:
A rich chocolate glaze/icing that is usually made from dark chocolate. The finish on this icing is more fragile and not suitable for hot or humid conditions.

Fresh Flowers on Cakes
We are happy to decorate cakes with fresh flowers which will have
an informal look and may not look like a florist arrangement which is
usually wired.
I can recommend some excellent Wairarapa florists who can assist you with sourcing and arranging flowers for your cake.
Cake Boards, Plates and Stands
Your cake will be presented on a round or square "cake board" in either silver or gold foil.
